Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Lubbock, TX. The Radiologic Technologist performs imaging procedures using radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images, ensuring patient safety and accuracy to support physicians' diagnoses.

You will educate patients, prepare and operate equipment, maintain rooms and comply with radiation safety protocols.

Qualifications

• One year's experience as Radiologic Technologist.
• Current Radiologic Technologist/Radiography license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• ARRT Certification preferred; other licenses may be required.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients about imaging procedures and answer questions.
• Prepare and operate radiologic equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
• Maintain equipment and sterilize the room for procedures.
• Evaluate images for quality and present findings to physicians.
• Maintain and inspect imaging equipment and report malfunctions.
• Document imaging procedures and technical details in patient records.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
• Perform other duties within Radiologic Technologist practice.
