Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Lancaster, Ohio. The role requires a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (or a Bachelor's with NPTE) and licensure in the state of Ohio. The assignment runs 13 weeks, with 40 hours per week and 10-hour day shifts.

The candidate will assess patients, develop and administer treatment plans, document progress, and educate patients and families. Travel, housing, and benefits are offered by MedPro Staffing.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and have passed the NPTE
• Graduated from an accredited school
• Minimum one year's experience
• Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT or in process of licensure
• Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients and provide direct patient care.
• Establish and administer a treatment program with goals based on capacity and tolerance.
• Set realistic goals, document patient condition, educate patients and families.
• Develops a plan of care for each physical therapy patient.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services per physician orders.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
