Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in West Warwick, Rhode Island. You’ll evaluate patients, design and implement plans to improve mobility and reduce pain, and collaborate with hospital teams to ensure high-quality care.

Ideal candidates hold a state license, current BLS, and preferably a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. New grads are welcome to apply; travel therapy offers competitive pay, benefits, and dedicated support.

Qualifications

Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
New grads welcome; Doctorate preferred for advancement.

Responsibilities

Evaluate patients’ physical conditions to identify functional limitations and treatment needs.
Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments and goals.
Implement PT treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to coordinate care.
Educate patients on home exercise programs and self-management strategies.
Maintain infection control and safe treatment environment.
Assist with discharge planning and community/home-based transitions.
