HealthForce Healthcare in Canton, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse – Operating Room for a 13-week travel assignment starting 11/16/2026. The position features 12-hour day shifts on a 12x3 rotation within a hospital-style OR setting and requires travel with no local candidates within 50 miles.

Responsibilities include direct perioperative nursing care, instrument handling, sterile technique, patient monitoring, and documentation.

Formación

Active RN license and appropriate credentialing for the assignment.
Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience in a surgical setting.
BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA).

Responsabilidades

Deliver perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the OR (pre-, intra-, post-).
Assist with instrument handling, Counts, sterile technique, room setup, and equipment readiness.
Monitor patient status, vital signs, and anesthesia-related parameters and communicate with the team.
Maintain aseptic technique, patient safety protocols, and documentation.
Collaborate with anesthesia, circulating nurse and surgical personnel; support on-call requirements and rapid-response scenarios.
Ensure accurate perioperative documentation and compliance with policy and standards.
