Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Danbury, CT. This role offers a dynamic travel opportunity with competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and strong clinical team support.

Required qualifications include MRI specialization, one year of MRI experience, a valid MRI license, and BLS certification. Travel positions include day shifts with 8-hour blocks and Monday–Friday schedules where applicable.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a Radiology program with MRI specialization.
• One year of experience as an MRI Tech.
• Valid Radiology/MRI license in line with state rules.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications per protocol.
• Educate patients about the MRI procedure and address questions.
• Maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot MRI equipment for reliability.
• Start IVs and administer contrast per orders and protocol.
• Monitor image quality and adjust scanning parameters.
• Document all procedure details per hospital policy.
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate results.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow infection control.
• Follow hospital safety rules including radiation safety.
• Perform other duties within the MRI Tech scope.
