Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Pittsfield, MA. This role offers 40 hours per week with an 8-hour shift, ASAP start, and travel benefits through Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology.

The CT Tech operates CT scanners, prepares patients, and ensures high-quality imaging while following safety protocols. A valid radiology license and BLS are required; ARRT certification preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of recent CT Technologist experience.
• Valid Radiology license in accordance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare patients, explain imaging process, and position patients safely.
• Set technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
• Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment.
• Document patient information and imaging parameters in the hospital system.
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to deliver timely diagnostic services.
