Job summary

General Healthcare Resources, Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week local contract in Camden, NJ. The CVOR and cath lab RN will scrub and circulate complex cardiovascular and endovascular cases on-site, supporting a high-acuity environment within an on-site CVOR suite.

This per diem assignment requires strong CVOR experience, NJ RN license, BLS, NIHSS, and the ability to work a 6:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m. shift with weekend and holiday coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of Level I trauma experience.
• Required experience scrubbing endovascular cases.
• Scrub and circulate cardiovascular and endovascular procedures.
• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, knowledgeable nursing care during cardiovascular, cardiac catheterization, and endovascular procedures.
• Scrub endovascular cases while applying strong procedural knowledge and sterile technique.
• Circulate in the CVOR or cath lab while coordinating supplies, equipment, documentation, and team communication.
• Support the care of high-acuity patients in a Level I trauma environment.
• Monitor patients closely and promptly communicate changes in condition to the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Maintain strict compliance with patient safety, infection prevention, sterile processing, and quality standards.
• Coordinate care efficiently across the cardiovascular operating room and procedural team.
• Participate in scheduled shifts, call coverage, weekend assignments, and holiday coverage as required.
