As a Visiting Angels 12 Hour Shift Caregiver, you'll support clients with personal care, mobility, meals, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and companionship while following custom care plans.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable personal vehicle for client transport.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• First Aid training and emergency response (provided if needed).
• Excellent time-management and ability to juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation to client homes on schedule.
• Ability to assist with mobility, housekeeping, and cooking while adhering to dietary constraints.
• Willing to comply with state and office health and safety standards (e.g., background check).
• Compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten each client's day.

Responsibilities

• Helping clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Assisting clients with light physical exercise or walks.
• Planning and preparing meals with clients.
• Handling light housekeeping duties.
• Reporting health changes or unusual incidents.
• Providing pleasant, supportive companionship.
• Responding quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Accompanying and supervising clients during shopping trips.
• Reminding clients to take prescription medications appropriately.
• Providing assistance with mobility and ambulation at home and during appointments/errands.
