Job summary

Milestone is seeking an ACMA, CNA or MAT to provide medication management and ADL support for residents in an Assisted Living community in Mesa, AZ. You will follow each resident’s service plan, communicate with medical professionals and families, and help ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, CNA/MAT certifications, and at least one year of caregiving experience with some supervisory exposure.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Nurse's Aide certification required.
• Certified Medication Aide or Medication Administration Technician required.
• Minimum one year of caregiving experience.
• At least six months of supervisory experience in a health-related field.
• Ability to read physician orders and match them to MARs.
• Understanding of medical terminology to administer medications.
• Certifications as required by state.
• Must be 18+ and TB clearance.
• First Aid certification required.
• Compassion for the elderly and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Follow each resident’s service plan and pass medications per physician orders.
• Document completion of daily tasks and changes in residents’ conditions.
• Communicate resident needs with other Medication Aides for consistent care.
• Participate in meal service and dining room duties.
• Supervise staff during shifts and ensure adequate coverage.
• Maintain required certifications and attend training/in-services.
• Comply with CQI program and report issues to supervisor.
• Follow HIPAA, OSHA and Bloodborne Pathogen guidelines.
• Report elder maltreatment to appropriate directors.
• Work safely and support teamwork and initiative.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Overview

We’re seeking an ACMA, CNA/MAT, or CMA to provide medication management and support Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) for residents in Assisted Living community. In this role, you’ll deliver care in accordance with resident service plans, communicate with medical professionals and families, and ensure residents’ safety and well-being while supporting regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Follow each resident’s service plan in a friendly and supportive manner, including passing medications per physician orders and Medication Administration Records
• Document completion of daily tasks and observed changes in residents’ conditions
• Communicate resident needs with other Medication Aides to ensure consistent care
• Participate in meal service, including serving, clearing, and cleaning the dining room
• Manage staff under your supervision during working hours
• Maintain required certifications and attend ongoing training and in-service programs
• Comply with the Continuous Quality Improvement program and report issues to your supervisor
• Follow all local, state, and federal rules and regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, and Blood Borne Pathogen Guidelines
• Report suspected elder maltreatment or abuse to the Director of Health and Wellness, Executive Director, and/or State
• Work safely and foster a safe work environment for all employees
• Support teamwork, take initiative, and maintain a positive impact on residents, visitors, and coworkers
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements
