Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute, LLC (FCS) is seeking a Research Coordinator to support clinical studies across our Florida network. A valid RN license in the state of employment is required, with at least one year of oncology or clinical research experience.

The role includes coordinating study activities under the PI and research director, ensuring site management, and travel to investigator meetings while complying with background checks and vaccination requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have valid RN license in state of employment.
• Minimum 1 year oncology or clinical research experience; or 5 years combined oncology and clinical research experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to stay organized.
• Detail oriented and patient advocate.
• Willingness to travel to investigator meetings.
• Valid driver’s license in state of residency for travel to clinics.
• Must comply with driver safety operations and motor vehicle records checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform research study under medical supervision of PI and research director.
• Oversee overall site management and successful implementation of studies.
• Provide coverage in clinics when staff are unavailable; mentor new staff; assist with projects as assigned by Senior Coordinator III.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the performance of the research study under the medical supervision of the Principal Investigator and the research director.
• The research coordinator is responsible for the overall successful implementation and ongoing site management of the research studies.
• May be responsible for providing coverage in clinics when research staff are out of the office; for precepting new research staff in clinics; for assisting with research projects assigned by the Senior Clinical Research Coordinator III.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Candidates must have a valid RN license, in state of employment,

• or a minimum of five years of combined clinical oncology and clinical research experience.
