Job summary

Language Trainers is seeking a native Italian-speaking tutor for a freelance, part-time one-to-one course in Toledo, OH. The role covers 50 total hours with two-hour sessions at Kent Branch Library.

Sessions are twice weekly (Mon and Thu, 4:30–6:30 PM). Ideal candidates have teaching qualifications or experience, and a valid work permit. The client is a beginner aged 18–24, motivated to learn Italian for personal reasons.

Most of her family speaks English, but some of them don't. I would love to be able to go over there with confidence and be able to speak to them how they would like to comfortably speak! It is very important to me to show them that I am willing to learn Italian.

Ideal Candidate

• Be a native Italian speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification
• Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter
