Work Shift

DAY

Summary of Duties

Performs the following job functions: medical device assembly which includes sealing, picking orders, and boxing product as a production team member.

Essential Functions Performed
  • Operates a variety of testing equipment required for product and process testing.
  • Reviews routers to determine optimal line balance.
  • Operates and understands the consolidation process.
  • Operates a sealer.
  • Ensures supplies are stocked and readily available.
  • Adjusts processes within validated ranges to achieve targeted results.
  • Assembles medical products on an assembly operation, performing a variety of tasks on a rotating basis.
  • Performs on‑line and in‑process visual inspection of products to ensure specifications per work order and procedure are followed.
  • Ensures product assembled meets quality standards.
  • Rejects product outside of specifications.
  • Picks and verifies orders for accuracy.
  • Prepares shipments including labels.
  • Performs the basic boxing procedures.
  • Adheres to safety standards.
  • Working overtime may be required for this position.
  • Performs other tasks, as required.

  • Ability to recognize, identify and distinguish between different medical products by their appearance.
  • Ability to perform a variety of tasks requiring dexterity and fine motor skills.
  • Knowledge of basic math and the ability to apply it in work situations.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in performing repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to work as a team member.
  • Ability to visually check work performed and identify whether a product has been assembled correctly.
  • Dependability in coming to work on time and meeting company attendance guidelines.
  • Must be able to work under strict time constraints and meet deadlines timely.
  • Ability to operate testing equipment.
  • Must be sealer certified.
  • Demonstrated computer skills preferably spreadsheets, word processing, database and other applicable software programs.
  • Must achieve certification in Production, Boxing, Warehouse and Sealing within 90 days of time in position.
