Job summary

Affordable Dentures & Implants in Louisiana is seeking a Locum Tenens Dentist for a 1099 contractor position offering full autonomy over your schedule. You can travel to practices in your area, across the state, or nationwide, filling in as needed for days or weeks while keeping your clinical skills sharp and up to date.

Responsibilities include removable prosthetics, denture services, extractions, denture relines, and presenting treatment plans.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited School of Dentistry.
• DEA Certification.
• Experience with surgery and extractions.

• Single and full mouth extraction services, alveoplasty as needed, and other surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

A typical day as an Locum Tenens Dentist involves:

• Provide removable prosthetics, including same day in-house immediate and replacement dentures
• Single and full mouth extraction services, alveoplasty as needed, and other various surgical procedures
• Denture related services such as relines, rebase, repairs, adjustments, softliners etc.
• Present treatment plans for new patient consulations
• Collaborate closely with the on-site removable laboratory team as well as auxillary support staff
