Job summary

Mount Nittany Health in State College, PA, seeks a BC/BE Advanced ERCP/GI Physician to join a two-physician, hospital-employed practice. The new outpatient center and endoscopy suite enhance access to complex ERCP/EUS procedures.

Physician will work three days inpatient and two days outpatient, with a 1:6 call shared with Penn State Health and Geisinger. Competitive base salary with wRVU incentives, CME allowance, and $100K sign-on bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Fellowship/subspecialty in ERCP and EUS completed.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in gastroenterology.
• Strong experience with advanced ERCP procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced GI procedures including ERCP and EUS.
• Collaborate with GI teams and support staff in a hospital-based practice.
• Maintain clinic/hospital schedule and participate in on-call coverage.

Nationally recognized, Mount Nittany Health, has an exciting opportunity for a BC/BE, full time Advanced (ERCP) Gastroenterologist to join a thriving, two-physician, hospital-employed practice. Located in State College, Pennsylvania, Mount Nittany Health is a 260-bed, community-based, not-for-profit, health system. The current outpatient clinic is conveniently located 5 miles from the hospital's campus, and moved to a new state-of-the-art outpatient medical center in Spring 2024! The new outpatient office is located adjacent to a new Endoscopy Center where the majority of the procedures will be performed. The physician will be provided a robust recruitment package.

The Position:

• Advanced ERCP/EUS Fellowship Required

• Brand new state-of-the-art GI clinic opened in Spring 2024 that will consist of 9 exams rooms!

• First and only Endoscopy Suite opened in Spring 2024-Provation equipment

• 2 Gastroenterologists

• Very experienced APP's ( 3 PA-C's and 1 NP)

• Collegial team environment and excellent support staff

• 3 days of IP (hospital) 2 days of OP (clinic)

• Office hours: M-F; 8 a.m. -5 p.m.

• Shared call is 1:6 with two other GI groups- Penn State Health and Geisinger

• EMR: Epic

Compensation Package:
