Job summary

Tempe Union High School District is seeking a Safety and Security Officer (10 Month, 1.0 FTE) to uphold a safe learning environment on the High School campus. The position reports to the Principal or Assistant Principal and requires a High School Diploma and minimum age 21.

Ideal candidates will bring security or law enforcement experience, willingness to pass a physical performance test, and knowledge of adolescent psychology. Three years of related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position.
• Must pass components of physical performance test.
• Previous experience with high school age students preferred.
• Possess knowledge of adolescent psychology preferred.
