Job summary

D&M Auto Leasing seeks a CDL A Driver for the nation’s largest auto leasing company. You will deliver vehicles during business hours, primarily Monday–Friday, with potential Saturdays. You must be well-organized, stay connected with dispatch, and safely haul multiple vehicles at one time.

The anticipated pay is between $60,000 and $70,000 per year. The route includes Dallas to Houston to Austin, with responsibilities outlined by dispatch and management.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of CDL Class A driving experience required.
• Experience hauling vehicles required.
• Valid Class A CDL with endorsements.
• Able to lift 25 to 75 pounds daily.
• Ability to drive up to eight hours per day with frequent stops.
• Willingness to work more than 40 hours per week and up to 12 hours per day.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Transport vehicles to and from various locations as coordinated by dispatch throughout Texas and Oklahoma.
• Stay connected with the logistics team during routes to confirm on-time delivery/pickup.
• Keep truck stocked with all materials needed to complete tasks.
• Complete and maintain daily paperwork as required by management.
• Order transport permits as needed.
• Notify management when licenses and permits need renewing.
• Keep truck clean and maintained; report service/repairs.
• Notify management when service or repairs are required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid Class A CDL with endorsements
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move 25 to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds each day
• Ability to drive for up to eight hours per day with frequent stops
• Ability to work more than 40 hours per week and up to 12 hours per day
• Work outside in all weather conditions
• Implement and adhere to internal policies and procedures
• Ability to complete accurate documents and contracts
• Prioritize effectively to maximize production time
