Carpenter & Paterson, Inc. in Donora, PA is seeking a full-time Packaging Associate/Alternate Delivery Driver to assist with order fulfillment, shipping/receiving, inventory, and as an alternate delivery driver.

Ideal candidates have warehouse experience, a clean driving record, basic math skills, and the ability to operate various material handling equipment. Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, with competitive pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar work environment preferred.
• Experience driving a 20’/14’ stake body truck in Pittsburgh area.
• Clean driving record.
• Having basic math skills.
• Ability to operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, and order-picker forklifts when needed.
• Willingness to learn warehouse products.
• Self-motivated, punctual and courteous.
• Team player with strong communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill & process orders and assist with shipping/receiving.
• Maintain inventory and organize storage areas.
• Support as alternate delivery driver as needed.
• Keep the work area clean, safe, and orderly.
• Operate delivery trucks safely and efficiently.
• Execute other duties as assigned.

Carpenter & Paterson, Inc. is currently hiring a full-time Packaging Associate/Alternate Delivery Driver to work out of our warehouses in Donora, PA. This position assists with fulfilling & processing orders, shipping/receiving, inventory, providing support as an alternate delivery driver, and other duties as assigned.

Essential Duties:

• Managing paperwork from customers and vendors
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Pulling orders and prepping for shipment
• Receive inventory and store products in designated areas
• Keep work area clean and orderly
• Maintain a healthy and safe working environment
• Operating our delivery trucks safely
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience in a similar work environment preferred
• Experience driving a 20’ / 14’ stake body truck in Pittsburgh and surrounding areas
• Clean, driving record
• Having basic math skills
• Ability to operate various types of materials handling equipment including hand trucks, pallet jacks, standard forklifts, and order-picker forklifts when needed.
• Willingness to learn the warehouse products
• Self-motivated
• Punctual and courteous
• Team player mentality a must; communication, collaboration, and motivation to follow through critically.
• Be able to work quickly and efficiently without constant supervision.

Days/Shift:

• Monday thru Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm
