Job summary

Think Academy US is seeking a part-time 1-on-1 Math Tutor to provide personalized tutoring to students from Think Academy classes. This remote, flexible role lets you teach on your own schedule while supporting students' understanding of math concepts.

You'll work with students one-on-one, help with questions and homework, and communicate progress to families as needed. A bachelor's degree or higher is preferred and eligible candidates in the United States are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
• Strong math foundation; STEM-related or Education majors preferred.
• Tutoring or teaching experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 math tutoring to reinforce concepts from Think Academy classes.
• Help students work through specific questions, homework, or areas of difficulty.
• Submit your weekly availability; teach sessions as students book them within your open slots.

What You'll Do

• Provide 1-on-1 support to students, reinforcing concepts from their long-term Think Academy math class
• Help students work through specific questions, homework, or areas of difficulty
• Submit your weekly availability; teach sessions as students book them within your open slots
• Communicate professionally with students (and parents, as needed) about progress and areas for improvement

Schedule & Compensation

• Part-time — you submit your available time slots each week, and students book sessions within those slots
• Sessions are scheduled based on student demand within your submitted availability
• Compensation: $25/hour

Who We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university
• Strong math foundation; Math, STEM-related, or Education majors preferred
• Passion for teaching and supporting student growth; strong communication skills
• Tutoring, mentoring, coaching, or classroom teaching experience is a plus
• Math competition background (e.g., AMC, Math Kangaroo) is a plus
