Job summary

Fusion Academy, a private, fully accredited 1-to-1 school for grades 5–12, seeks an Art Teacher. You’ll shape schedules, design creative lessons, and collaborate with colleagues to personalize education for each student—academically, socially, and emotionally.

The role involves teaching a broad Art curriculum, mentoring students, and building strong partnerships with families. A Bachelor’s degree is required; teaching credentials are a plus, and a growth mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
• Ability to teach a wide range of Art courses (Studio Art, Illustration, Painting, Portfolio Development, Graphic & Fashion Design, Drawing, Photography, Digital Media, Animation, Art History, and Electives), curriculum and resources provided.
• Experience working with students including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
• Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
• Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.
• Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
