Accucare Nursing & Home Care in Yonkers, NY is seeking a 1:1 nurse for pediatric home care. You will work closely with a 5-year-old patient with Cerebral Palsy, G-tube, Short Gut Syndrome, Hernia, and Ileostomy to provide dedicated home-based care.

Applicants must hold a NYS RN license and demonstrate experience with pediatric tracheostomy, charting within 24 hours, and reliable onboarding. The role offers flexible hours, including weekends, with comprehensive benefits and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Active NYS Registered Nurse licensure required.
• Experience with pediatric tracheostomy care.
• Strong computer literacy and charting skills.
• Completion of onboarding before training start.
• Nursing notes completed within 24 hours of shift.
• Malpractice insurance required.
• Ability to work with patients who have pets.

Responsabilités

• Provide 1:1 nursing in the patient's home.
• Care for pediatric patient with Cerebral Palsy, G-tube, Short Gut Syndrome, Hernia and Ileostomy.
• Offer flexible scheduling (full-time, part-time, or per diem).
• Provide patient-specific training and coaching as needed.
• Cover shifts in Yonkers and surrounding areas; including Saturday overnight if required.

Job Description

Accucare Nursing and Home Care is currently hiring nurses to join our team of dedicated and passionate healthcare professionals. We have an opening for the following position: 1:1 Nurse in Yonkers, NY.

Responsibilities

• 1:1 Nursing in patient's home
• Pediatric patient aged 5 years with Cerebral Palsy, G-tube, Short Gut Syndrome, Hernia, and Ileostomy
• Flexible scheduling (Full-time, part-time, or per diem available)
• Patient‑specific training provided
• Other cases/shifts available in surrounding areas
• Saturday overnight shift: 11:00 PM – 9:00 AM

Requirements

• Experience with pediatric tracheostomy
• NYS Nursing licensure required
• Computer literacy
• Completion of onboarding required prior to training
• Nursing notes completed within 24 hours of shift completion
• Malpractice insurance required
• Ability to work with pets

Compensation

$35 per hour.
