Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent; must meet Highly Qualified Status by one of three options.
• Able to work with children and follow detailed written and oral instructions.
• Ability to solve minor problems and supervise student activities.

Responsibilities

• Gives group instruction and provides individualized instruction as prescribed.
• Prepares visual aids and duplicates materials; arranges classroom furnishings.
• Proctoring during testing and scoring papers as instructed by the teacher.
• Monitors student behavior and reinforces positive conduct; promotes respectful interactions.
• Maintains attendance and health data; reports progress to the teacher.
