GSL Education are seeking a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Lincoln, providing tailored support to a pupil with complex learning and communication needs.

This is a full-time, long-term role ideal for someone who is patient, proactive, and committed to helping children thrive both academically and emotionally.

The Role:

Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with SEN, focusing on engagement, confidence, and progress.

Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons adapted to individual learning styles and abilities.

Implement strategies to promote emotional regulation and positive behaviour.

Support with personal care and daily routines where required.

Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.

The Ideal Candidate:

Experience working with children or young people with SEN or challenging behaviour (essential).

A compassionate, patient, and adaptable nature.

Confident in promoting inclusion and positive behaviour support.

Available for a full-time, ongoing position.

Holds a valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or is willing to apply for one).
