Job summary

Ro Health is hiring a School Nurse (LPN or RN) for 1:1 student care in Arlington/Alexandria, VA. Daytime, weekday schedule with no nights or weekends. Work involves providing dedicated 1:1 care during school hours and coordinating with the school team.

Role includes managing medical needs (seizures, trach care, G‑tube feeding, diabetes) and administering medications per orders. Per diem/full‑time position with meaningful pediatric impact.

Qualifications

• Active LPN - License Practical Nurse
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Pediatric, home health, or school nursing experience preferred (not required)

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 care for a student during the school day
• Monitor and manage medical needs, including seizure disorders, tracheostomy care, G-tube feedings, Type 1 diabetes management
• Administer medications per physician orders
• Follow individualized care plans (IEPs/medical plans)
• Maintain a safe and supportive school environment
