Job summary

Chapter One is seeking Early Literacy Interventionists for the 2026-2027 school year. This part-time role requires a Bachelor’s degree and entails delivering 1:1 reading support to young learners using our structured model.

Ideal candidates will have reliable transportation, be available Monday through Friday, and possess intermediate tech skills. Onsite work with a supportive team helps children achieve proficient reading by grade one.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four year institution.
• Proficient with Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, and basic software.
• Strong interpersonal, oral presentation and writing skills; team-friendly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 reading instruction using Chapter One's model.
• Monitor student progress and document tutoring sessions.
• Collaborate with managers, classroom instructors, literacy coaches, and admins.
• Provide basic technology support for handheld devices.
