Job summary

VIVA USA Inc. is seeking an RN to provide health support and monitoring for a medically complex student in a school setting.

The nurse will accompany the student from home to school and back, oversee daily care, and administer breathing treatments as needed. Responsibilities include evaluating care needs, administering medications and immunizations, maintaining records, and coordinating with physicians and parents.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the State of AZ.
• Eligible for Arizona School Nurse Certification.
• Current CPR certification (CPR/BLS).
• HB and COVID-19 vaccination as required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate health care needs of students and refer to specialists when needed.
• Administer immunizations and medications with appropriate records.
• Educate students on hygiene and total health care; coordinate medical appointments.
• Maintain current medical records and inform parents of student health status.
• Respond to emergencies and communicate health needs to staff; assist with medical descriptions to physicians.
