Job summary

Cross Country Education in Anaheim, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide dedicated 1:1 medical care for an elementary student with complex needs, including ventilator and tracheostomy support, G-tube feeding, and oxygen management during the school day.

The ideal candidate holds an ADN or BSN, California RN license, at least 1 year of related experience, and a commitment to safety, documentation, and collaboration with school staff and healthcare providers.

Qualifications

• ADN or BSN required.
• Active California RN license.
• Minimum 1 year hands-on nursing with ventilator/tracheostomy care required.
• Experience with 1:1 care for medically complex pediatric patients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 nursing care to an elementary student with complex medical needs.
• Monitor respiratory status and manage ventilator/tracheostomy care and oxygen as needed.
• Assist with daily care, transfers, and positioning for a student over 80 pounds.
• Maintain accurate health documentation and collaborate with school staff and healthcare team.
