Accucare Nursing & Home Care in Montrose, NY seeks a compassionate 1:1 nurse to provide in-home care for a 12-year-old non-ambulatory patient with gastrostomy, oxygen, and seizures. Part-time or per diem options available; full-time cases may also arise.

Nurses must hold NYS licensure and be computer literate; onboarding must be completed before training. Duties include timely nursing notes within 24 hours and professional documentation.

Qualifications

• Must be computer literate and able to complete nursing notes within 24 hours of shift.
• Experience in pediatrics not required.
• Onboarding must be completed prior to training.
• Malpractice insurance required.

Responsibilities

• 1:1 nursing in patient's home/school/bus.
• Care for a 12-year-old non-ambulatory patient with gastrostomy, oxygen, quadriplegia and seizures.
• Provide patient-specific care; flexible scheduling (part-time or per diem; full-time possible).
• Receive patient-specific training; assist with shifts in surrounding areas.
