Job summary

Dennett Elementary School in Plympton, MA is seeking a full-time paraprofessional to support students with disabilities in a 1:1 setting for the 25-26 school year. Reporting to the building principal, the role is based on student needs and hours are 8:00–3:00, Monday to Friday.

Salary ranges from $17.42–$22.88 per hour depending on experience; position is through the Town of Plympton and Plympton Paraprofessional contract.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be able to communicate well verbally and in writing.
• Willingness to collaborate with staff and participate in district PD.
• Role requires adaptability in a K-12 setting.

Responsibilities

• Support students in general education classes and/or substantially separate classrooms.
• Provide accommodations to students on IEPs and Section 504 Plans.
• Collaborate with regular education and Special Education teachers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by building administration.
