Job summary

BJC Healthcare's Christian Hospital in Florissant, MO is seeking a Physical Therapist for a full-time outpatient role. You will deliver 1:1 evaluations and treatments, collaborating with a supportive rehab team to advance patient goals in a patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities include planning therapies, educating patients and families, coordinating with other providers, and documenting care in accordance with department policies. A PT license is required, and a Master's is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (PT) required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Licensed Physical Therapist with active PT license.

Responsibilities

• Establishes treatment plan and provides treatment, considering discharge needs; expected discharge functional status; and appropriate equipment and supplies.
• Educates, collaborates with, and conferences with patients, families, and other health care providers; making recommendations for referrals to specialists as needed.
• Delegates to assistants, techs, and students through written and verbal communication including determining the skill level or competency required to provide interventions to best meet the needs of the patient.
• Completes documentation in accordance with departmental policies.
• Provides assessment, reassessment, and/or consultations for Physical Therapy Services.
