Job summary

Fusion Academy is seeking a Math Teacher to deliver personalized 1-to-1 instruction for grades 5-12, shaping schedules and lessons while collaborating with passionate colleagues. The role emphasizes student-centered learning, social-emotional growth, and robust parent partnerships in a campus culture that values ongoing development.

You will teach a broad math spectrum (Basic to Calculus) using provided curriculum, while adapting to diverse learners and collaborating with staff to sustain

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of math courses (Basic, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Integrated, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, Statistics, Business & Consumer Math, and Calculus).
• Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
• Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
• Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.
• Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• A growth mindset with the flexibility to pivot and problem-solve as needed.
