Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• No Child Left Behind qualifications: Associate’s Degree, or 48 college hours, or Work Keys tests + 96 staff development hours.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• CDL license with passenger school bus endorsement and current Bus Drivers Pocket Card.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher with instruction and monitor students.
• Operate school bus on established routes and ensure student safety.
• Distribute materials, prepare visual aids and maintain classroom organization.
• Record attendance and progress, and report to supervisor as needed.
• Observe safety regulations and maintain discipline on bus and in classroom.
