Job summary

San Juan Unified School District is seeking an Instructional Assistant II (6 hours) at Bella Vista High School, CA. The position is part-time, 6 hours per day, 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a 5% hard-to-staff stipend.

Role supports students in Resource programs, with opportunities to work in both Special Day Class and General Education settings. Qualifications include experience with mild/moderate needs and a willingness to obtain a CA Driver License if required, along with

• Ability to run small groups and assist students in general education and special day settings.
• Willingness and ability to obtain a valid California Class C driver license within 30 days if required.

Responsibilities

• Run small groups and assist students in both Special Day Class and General Education settings.
• Support the teacher's needs and classroom management during instruction.
• Assist in daily classroom activities and adapt materials as directed.
