Job summary

Tutor Me LA LLC is looking for passionate teachers and tutors with special education experience to provide in-home tutoring in Compton, CA. You'll offer personalized support and tailored instruction to help students with special needs achieve academic success.

This role offers a flexible schedule, with sessions of 1 hour, 5 times a week. You will be responsible for helping students with daily activities and guiding their learning based on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP).

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with Autism and IEPs.
• Strong understanding of middle school subjects.
• Comfortable using graphic organizers and multisensory strategies.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized academic support across various subjects.
• Teach reading comprehension strategies.
• Guide writing development and reinforce grammar skills.

Skills

Special education experience

Knowledge of middle school ELA, math, science, and social studies
