JOB SUMMARY
Under general supervision, an instructional assistant – Exceptional Children (EC) will provide support and advancement of the execution of the classroom teachers plan in an elementary or secondary learning environment that guides, and encourages students with disabilities to develop and fulfill their academic goals by creating a classroom environment that is conducive to learning, and appropriate to the maturity and interest of students.
The 1:1 teacher assistant will work with the lead to teacher to support academic needs for a student.
