AEDD in Little Rock, AR is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for 1:1 male support. Mon-Fri, 4p-11p with starting pay of $13.00/hour.

You will assist with daily living, health, and social activities, while ensuring safety and documentation, including driving using your personal vehicle where required. The role emphasizes compassionate care, adherence to service plans, and active participation in planning meetings.

Qualifications

• Age 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED with 1 year of relevant experience, or 2 years of verifiable direct work with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Valid Arkansas driver's license and proof of auto liability insurance.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Ability to interact effectively with individuals and follow written instructions.

Responsabilités

• Help individuals develop life skills, including health, hygiene, and independent living tasks.
• Create a positive, respectful home and community environment.
• Assist with daily routines as outlined in the service plan.
• Facilitate community engagement via activities, appointments, and outings.
• Provide safe transportation using your personal vehicle, meeting AR insurance requirements.
• Maintain records of expenses and document progress.
• Participate in annual service planning meetings.
• Complete CPR, First Aid, Defensive Driving, and in-service training.
• Submit weekly documentation and timesheets on time.
