Job summary

Fusion Academy in Englewood, CO seeks an American Sign Language Teacher to deliver 1-on-1 instruction for grades 4–12 and to mentor students with diverse learning needs. You will differentiate lessons, document progress, and maintain strong parent communication.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and advanced ASL background; teaching credentials are a bonus. A supportive, inclusive campus culture and ongoing professional growth are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; strong American Sign Language background.
• Advanced knowledge of Deaf / Hard of Hearing Studies, culture, and awareness.
• Subject matter knowledge MS ASL through ASL 4 at grades 6–12.
• Teaching credentials are a plus but not mandatory.
• Experience with students with learning differences and ADHD is a plus.
• Candidate must be prepared to teach and tutor material at a high school level immediately.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one ASL instruction from MS ASL through ASL 5 for 4th–12th graders.
• Differentiate and personalize instruction while supporting social and emotional development.
• Maintain accurate student and teacher records.
• Communicate effectively with parents and collaborate with staff.
• Mentor students and contribute to an inclusive campus community.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and growth.
