Job summary

Family of Kidz in Suffolk County is seeking a Behavior Technician for a school-based position at Eastport South Manor. Hours vary by school district; compensation ranges from $22 to $28 per hour in a part-time role.

You will work under a Behavior Consultant supervisor to support student goals, collect data, and maintain confidentiality. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential, with opportunities for supervision and professional development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months ABA working with children or adolescents in a supervised setting.
• Successful completion of or current enrollment in an undergraduate program in psychology, healthcare, human services, education or related field.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with a Behavior Consultant clinical supervisor to collect data.
• Respond to the goals, needs and requests of clients, their families and supervisors, on an individualized basis and in a professional manner.
• Goal-oriented and maintain professionalism in all aspects of your work.
• Maintain the confidentiality of information regarding clients and families in accordance with State and Federal regulations.
