Job summary

In STEPPS Academy Clinic in Irvine, CA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work one-on-one with children using ABA and PRT strategies. The role involves data collection, notes, and collaboration with Supervisors and families.

Responsibilities include implementing the intervention model in the Academy classroom, supporting social skills groups or home hours as needed, and maintaining timely reporting and materials. A HS diploma is required; RBT certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; AA/bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Reliable car, proof of auto insurance and valid driver’s license required.
• Clean criminal background check.
• 8-12 months of experience in an ABA position preferred or experience in a similar field.
• School case experience preferred.
• RBT Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with clients using ABA and PRT in the Academy classroom.
• Complete data collection and notes as directed by Supervisors.
• Participate in trainings, evaluations, and team meetings.
• Communicate frequently with colleagues.
• Bring required materials (toys, iPad) provided by In STEPPS.
• Follow schedule set by admin staff and supervisors.
• Work closely with families and supervisors.
• Provide consultations as appropriate.
• Comply with reporting requirements including payroll submissions and billing information.
