Job summary

Blue Gems ABA Therapy seeks a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism in home, school, or clinic settings. You will implement plans designed by supervising BCBAs, collect real-time progress data, and collaborate with families to ensure skill generalization.

Strong communication, reliability, and a valid driver’s license are essential as you contribute to meaningful outcomes in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Certification: Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or eligibility to obtain certification.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field is a plus).
• Experience: Experience working with children with autism or developmental delays preferred.
• Reliability: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for helping children and families achieve meaningful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based 1:1 ABA therapy to clients.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and skill-acquisition programs designed by the supervising BCBA.
• Collect accurate, real-time data on client progress using clinical software.
• Collaborate closely with supervising BCBAs, families, and caregivers to ensure consistency and generalization of skills.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging environment for the child during sessions.
