Job summary

Acorn Health is seeking Behavior Technicians (BTs) to join our team to provide high-quality, intensive ABA interventions under supervision. You will work directly with clients delivering 1:1 ABA therapy in center, home, or school settings and collaborate with BCBAs to implement individualized treatment plans.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience working with children preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, teaching, or related field preferred
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Interdisciplinary team collaboration
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Passion for helping others

Responsibilities

• Complete training to provide therapy (state requirements vary)
• Deliver 1:1 direct ABA treatment to clients to increase skills and reduce problem behaviors
• Work with the supervising BCBA and team to ensure high quality service delivery
• Support parent and caregiver training as directed by the BCBA
• Collect data and document client records to monitor progress and inform treatment decisions
• Communicate with parents, supervisors, and others to inform and improve plans
• Provide services in center, home, school, or other locations as clinically indicated
• Schedule may include driving between clients
