What if you could step into an established independent ophthalmology practice with approximately 1,000 cataracts annually, an experienced team, full‑time OD support, established referrals, optical and ASC access already in place?

Sundell Eye Associates offers the right ophthalmologist an opportunity for immediate private practice ownership in northern Minnesota.

This financially strong comprehensive practice is well established in its regional market. Current volume includes approximately 1,000 cataract procedures annually, including approximately 200 premium/LAL cases, with approximately 1,000 new patients entering the practice each year.

The current ophthalmologist generates this surgical volume while maintaining approximately three clinic days and one surgery day per week, providing an unusual combination of surgical opportunity, professional autonomy and quality of life.

The practice includes an established full‑time optometrist, experienced clinical and administrative staff, a successful optical shop and strong regional referral relationships.

Surgery is performed at a state‑of‑the‑art ASC located directly across the parking lot on the same medical campus. Established ophthalmology OR block time is available, with potential future ASC ownership opportunity.

A Real Path to Ownership

This is not a position offering a vague possibility of partnership years in the future.

For the right qualified physician, ownership can be available immediately. A physician who prefers to transition into ownership may instead begin with competitive guaranteed compensation of approximately $400,000, depending upon experience and structure, plus production incentives.

Flexible acquisition and transition structures may also be considered for a well‑qualified candidate.

The ideal physician is a skilled cataract surgeon who values independent practice, professional autonomy and the ability to control the direction of his or her practice. Comprehensive, cataract/anterior segment and cornea‑trained ophthalmologists are encouraged to inquire.
