Heidelberg Materials in California is seeking a reliable loader operator to operate front-end loaders and other heavy equipment in our quarry. You will load trucks, crushers and stockpiles, perform pre-shift checks, and maintain a clean, safe work area.

This role requires a high school diploma, a clean driver's license, and a strong commitment to safety. You must be able to follow written and oral instructions and handle strenuous tasks in varying weather.

Responsabilidades

• Operate front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to load trucks, crushers, and stockpiles with aggregates.
• Perform pre-shift inspections of equipment and report malfunctions or maintenance needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area around the loader and loading zones.
• Adhere to safety policies and PPE requirements and follow traffic control plans.
• Communicate effectively with truck drivers, plant operators, and quarry personnel to coordinate loading activities.
• Monitor material quality and report inconsistencies or contamination.
• May perform basic maintenance tasks on equipment such as greasing and cleaning.
