Job summary

Sally Beauty Holdings, LLC is seeking a friendly Beauty Advisor/Sales Associate to create a memorable shopping experience for customers. You will help with hair color, cosmetics, skin care, and nails, using product knowledge gained through Sally Beauty training.

Ideal candidates have strong customer service skills and can read product labels, explain features, and follow directions from the manager. Availability to meet the business schedule is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to meet scheduling needs and communicate clearly with customers and management.
• Ability to apply product knowledge training to assist customers.

The Sales Associate/Beauty Advisor will focus on one primary objective – creating a memorable shopping experience for our customers. Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must 18 years of age or older
• 1 + years retail sales/customer service experience preferred
• Must be available to meet the scheduling needs of the business
• Able to communicate with customers, co-workers and management in a clear and concise manner
• Ability to execute knowledge from product knowledge training to support with customer service
• Can read and explain product labels
• Can follow direction and perform other duties as assigned by Manager

Legal wants you to know:

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
• May be exposed to fumes and odors upon occasion.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

The position requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing; walking; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes. The position involves working around moving parts, carts, or machines, and may occasionally include exposure to irritant chemicals.
