Responsibilities

• Perform hygiene clinical procedures, including oral prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, sealants, fluoride, oral cancer screenings and x-rays.
• Educate patients on the importance of oral hygiene and demonstrate effective methods.
• Communicate with doctor regarding restorative and/or periodontal needs for patients.
