Fortrex is seeking a meticulous Food Safety Sanitor to maintain the highest cleanliness and safety standards in our food production processes. You will perform the eight sanitation steps and ensure compliance with all food safety policies to help protect the food supply.

In a wet, hot or cold plant environment, you will wear PPE, lift equipment, and work with leads to uphold our standards. This role requires reliability, safety focus, and the ability to work across shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to take direction and be accountable for own actions.
• Safety awareness and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in extreme temperature fluctuations.

Responsabilités

• Work cooperatively with leads and management to ensure sanitation procedures are followed.
• Frequently lift hoses, equipment, and chemical containers, etc.
• Wear employer-specified PPE such as gloves, face shield, eye goggles, aprons, boots, safety glasses, etc.
• Exposure to chemicals (with PPE required for the task).
• All night standing, lifting, and crouching for periods at a time.
• Perform all tasks safely.
• Use Lock-out tag-out (LOTO).
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Do:

The Food Safety Sanitor performs sanitation labor by performing the eight steps of sanitation while understanding and complying with all food safety and safety policies and procedures.

Job duties include:
