Sally Beauty is hiring a Store Advisor to help customers with beauty needs and build loyalty. You’ll engage with shoppers, recommend products, and process transactions accurately while upholding Sally Beauty Culture Values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of retail sales/customer service preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers, coworkers and management.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and inspire loyalty while working with customers and vendors.
• Recommend additional and complimentary products.
• Inform customers of current promotions and events.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales and promotional events.
• Ensure our customers are informed about and enrolled in our Loyalty program.
• Complete cash and other monetary transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional store environment and inventory management while communicating any inventory issues.
• Demonstrate Sally Beauty Culture Values and adhere to our company code of ethics and behavior.
• Trusted with Company Assets and Technology and maintain accurate records as it pertains to the business.
• We have a range of different working schedules and hours to suit everyone’s needs.
• Occasionally you may be required to make bank deposits and open or close the store.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must 18 years of age or older
• 1 + years retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• Must be available to meet the scheduling needs of the business.
• Able to communicate with customers, co-workers, and management in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to execute knowledge from product knowledge training to support with customer service.
• Can read and explain product labels.
• Can follow direction and perform other duties as assigned by Manager.

Legal Wants You To Know

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
• May be exposed to fumes and odors upon occasion.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

The position requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing; walking; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes. The position involves working around moving parts, carts, or machines, and may occasionally include exposure to irritant chemicals.
