Job summary

Eastcastle Place is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant for 2nd shift (5:00pm-9:00pm), 16 hours per week. You will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor health needs, and collaborate with RNs, LPNs, and support staff to ensure safe, dignified care.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of CNA experience, WI CNA registration, and a positive, team-oriented attitude. The role is in a long-term care setting with opportunities for growth and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant CNA experience required.
• Active CNA registration through the state of Wisconsin required.
• CBRF certifications preferred
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork ethic essential.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills needed.
• Positive, caring and professional attitude expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent patient care while maintaining residents' comfort, privacy, and dignity.
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, mobility, and exercise.
• Follow resident care plans and provide support as outlined.
• Turn and reposition bedridden patients as needed.
• Respond promptly to resident call lights.
• Complete tasks assigned by the nurse.
• May relocate to different care units based on resident needs.
• Monitor and document intake, output, and vital signs.
• Report changes in condition to nursing staff.

We are looking for a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will assist residents with activities of daily living, ensure a safe and comfortable environment, and provide physical, emotional, and social support. As part of the Nursing team, you will collaborate with fellow CNAs, RNs, LPNs, Dietary Aides, and Activities staff, while reporting to our Nurse Managers and Director of Nursing.

What You Will Do:

• Provide excellent patient care while maintaining residents' comfort, privacy, and dignity.
• Assist with daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, mobility, and exercise.
• Follow resident care plans and provide support as outlined.
• Turn and reposition bedridden patients as needed.
• Respond promptly to resident call lights.
• Complete all tasks assigned by the nurse.
• May be required to relocate to different care units based on resident needs.
• Monitor and record food and liquid intake, output, and vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration).
• Report any changes in condition, wounds, bruises, or symptoms to nursing staff.
• Stay current with CNA training and facility policies.

What You Will Bring:

• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant CNA experience, preferably in Long-Term Care settings
• Active CNA registration through the state of Wisconsin
• CBRF certifications preferred
• High school diploma or GED
• Strong communication skills and teamwork attitude
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
