Johnson Controls, Inc. in Turkey seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to lead brazing process development, optimization, and standardization across manufacturing operations.

You will support New Product Introduction activities, including process design, validation, and production transfer, ensuring robust and scalable brazed joints. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or metallurgical engineering, at least 3 years in manufacturing engineering or joining processes, hands-on brazing

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical & Materials Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, welding, brazing, or joining processes.
• Hands-on experience with brazing process development, validation, and production support.
• Knowledge of PFMEA, SPC, MSA, and Control Plan methodologies.
• Experience with structured problem-solving tools and continuous improvement practices.
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Good command of English.

What You Will Do

• Lead the development, optimization, and standardization of brazing processes used in manufacturing operations.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including process design, validation, and production transfer.
• Investigate production and quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Drive projects aimed at reducing scrap, rework costs, and process losses.
• Collaborate with product design teams to improve the reliability and manufacturability of brazed joints.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing projects across the factory.

How You Will Do It

• Analyze process performance and identify opportunities to improve quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.
• Apply structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, Root Cause Analysis, and Kaizen.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, PFMEA, Control Plans, and process control strategies.
• Deliver process training and technical support to operators and technicians.
• Support the evaluation, installation, and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment.
• Ensure compliance with EHS and quality standards throughout all process improvement activities.
