Job Description

About the team:

We’re looking for a Welding Engineer for your Gebze location.

What you can look forward to as Welding Engineer:
  • Analyse and approve technical drawings of welding applications according to feasibility and welding specifications
  • To determine welding parameters
  • To train or provide essential trainings to the welding operators
  • To control the efficiency of all blue collar welding trainings
  • To control the conformance of the welding equipments continuously and set up system for breakdowns
  • To organize progressive audits continuously for welding lines in terms of system and equipment
  • To provide efficient use of current Poke-Yoke systems and to lead about solving problems
  • To cooperate with processengineers in designing welding system and welding fixtures
  • To approve welding equipment and fixtures
  • To participate in process improvement initiatives to reduce downtime, improve efficiency, and extend tooling life
Your Profile as Welding Engineer:
  • 3+ years experience in developing and launching welding processes in automotive industries
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Welding Engineering, Materials Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Able to function independently, be a strong collaborator when working in a team, detail oriented, organized, hands‑on and able to make strong decisions
  • Knowledge of welding robots, preferably Fanuc&Fronius and Panasonic welding systems
  • Highly motivated, self‑directed, creative, innovative individual
  • Analytical thinking, managing skills, team player, time management, well organized
  • Take direct responsibility for achieving welding quality targets and leading all activities towards this objective including the development of quality control plans and PFMEA
