Job summary

Deutsche Post is seeking a skilled engineer to design warehousing and supply chain solutions for diverse customers. You will analyze requirements, create feasibility studies, and develop scalable, tech-driven concepts to boost efficiency and growth.

The role emphasizes RFQ/RFI management, costing, and data-driven decision support, with collaboration across teams to implement optimized storage and process designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Industrial Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, supply chain engineering, or solution design.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, process design, layout planning, and resource modelling.
• Experience in RFQ/RFI management, feasibility studies, and costing.
• Knowledge of WMS systems; SAP EWM is an asset.
• Knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate, or similar tools is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
• No military service obligation for male candidates.

Responsibilities

• Design warehouse and supply chain solutions based on customer and operational requirements.
• Conduct feasibility studies, capacity planning, manpower calculations, and resource modelling.
• Prepare costing models and support RFQ/RFI and commercial pricing activities.
• Develop warehouse layouts, operational processes, and alternative solution scenarios.
• Identify and recommend WMS, automation, and digital solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Analyze operational, financial, and customer data to support decision making.
• Support customer presentations, site visits, technical workshops, and solution implementation activities.
• Evaluate warehouse technologies and investment opportunities through cost-benefit analysis.
